Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort is a destination that pushes the boundaries of adventure while letting you escape into a place of quite solitude. Book for a scuba diving lesson or a dive safari at our Aquamania Center and explore one of the first marine protected preserves in the Philippines located right at the island.

One can also rent snorkels and explore the islands shallow coral reefs or go on a sunset coastal tour in one of our native outrigger boats.

SCUBA DIVING ADVENTURE

Sumilon Island is designated as an official marine sanctuary. Its superb visibility, stunning reefs, and abundance of varied tropical marine species provide an ideal and memorable dive. An early morning banca (pumpboat) ride will take you to Tañon Strait, famous for dolphins and migratory whale sightings. The pygmy killer whales are reported to pass through these waters. Spinner dolphins are the most common in the area.
