TREKKING IN SUMILON

Go on a nature trek in one of the 3 nature trails that converges in an old watchtower so rich in history, explore nooks and crannies where you will come face to face with nature or even find a place designed after your own heart. After all, there is nothing quite like a Bluewater adventure. A map located in your room will help you navigate through the paths.

EVENING DINNER PARTIES

Evening Dinner Parties are held in a variety of locations every night. Dinner starts at 6:00 PM (Check the Activity Board daily)

ROMANTIC BEACH PICNIC

Choose a perfect location and we can arrange to serve you meals to enhance the romance.

LOUNGING AT THE PAYAG-PAYAG

On Sumilon Island, try the resort’s unique bamboo gazebo or “payag-payag” with spectacular views of the seas with varying aquamarine hues and nearby islands. It is central to two favorite activities: lounging around or snuggling with your sweetheart.

SUMILON ISLAND MASSAGE

Succumb into a complete state of relaxation as your masseuse treats you with long flowing movements over your body, creating a dynamic dance of life.

LIBRARY

A selection of bestsellers and historical books will be available for the young and restless

SUMILON ISLAND SCENIC BOAT TOUR

See all the facets of Sumilon Island from the sea. One can also appreciate crystal clear waters and white sand views. During the trip, one is encouraged to help feed the resident tropical fishes.

GROUP ACTIVITIES

We offer group or company team building activities that include mountain-climbing, paddle-boating, compass-reading and rappelling. This is an adventure that should not be missed.

SNORKELING

Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort is a destination that pushes the boundaries of adventure while letting you escape into a place of quite solitude. Book for a scuba diving lesson or a dive safari at our Aquamania Center and explore one of the first marine protected preserves in the Philippines located right at the island.

One can also rent snorkels and explore the islands shallow coral reefs or go on a sunset coastal tour in one of our native outrigger boats.

SCUBA DIVING ADVENTURE

Sumilon Island is designated as an official marine sanctuary. Its superb visibility, stunning reefs, and abundance of varied tropical marine species provide an ideal and memorable dive. A visit to the resort will be a perfect time to learn the basics of SCUBA from a PADI-certified Expert Instructor.

LAGOON KAYAKING AND FISHING

Explore the island’s calm lagoon and steer through the high mangroves! Test your skills and fish the lagoon waters using the simple but challenging line and hook.

WHALE AND DOLPHIN WATCHING

An early morning banca (pumpboat) ride will take you to Tañon Strait, famous for dolphins and migratory whale sightings. The pygmy killer whales are reported to pass through these waters. Spinner dolphins are the most common in the area.

Thereafter, take a lunch break at an idyllic seven-kilometer white sandbar in the middle of the sea and a leisurely snorkel around its clear waters.
